What are you afraid of when you close your eyes? You don’t have to tell me in the comment section if you wish not to but just know that God takes away your fears and worries. I understand with the coronavirus going on right now that many of you are troubled due to the brainwashing of the mainstream media, that many of you have even lost loved ones, or haven’t seen your family in a long time. Therefore, you are anxious and even just complacent in life until your last breath. Fear not though because the truth is that we serve a mighty God who instructs us to “Give your worries to the Lord and he will take care of you.” (Psalm 55:22)
This is something I’ve had to read over and over again because I tend to worry about taking “life-changing” tests, my mother, my family, my job and other trivial things that are simply in God’s hands. As long as I follow Christ and obey His word he will guide me, protect me, and love even when I feel no one else does. He will give me strength even when I am empty and when the enemy sends proud people to chase or belittle me in order to make me afraid. (Psalm 56:1-3)
The world will have you in an endless pursuit of chasing after things that don’t even belong to you, running to the bottle and drugs to solve your problems, and trying to impress your boss for his/her approval. The world is an evil place due to the disobedience of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:1-7) but we must rise above and follow Him. Psalm 56:4 states, “I praise God for his word. I trust God, so I am not afraid. What can human beings do to me?”
When you feel as if the world is all on your shoulders I want you to pray. I want you to cry out to Him and ask for Him to use you. God hears and watches everything. As long as you follow Him he will always look after you.
